My latest obsession is…
Soma bras, specifically the Embraceable Wireless Bra. Jen and I shopped till we dropped yesterday and we stumbled across this boutique. Previously, I got my bras from Lane Bryant and I noticed that it was time to invest in some new ones. Although they were on sale they were still pretty pricey but I quickly noticed the quality was superb. Usually when snapping the back and pulling the bra back around, to the front, it scratches me but this bra glided smoothly across the top of my rib cage. It felt really softly padded and when I put the straps on it felt very comfortable, the cups fully covered and my boobs were lifted. The bras I typically wear lift but it really isn’t as comfortable due to the lack of plush and the presence of wires. So here’s the specs of the bra I picked up:
Embraceable Wireless Bra: A bra so comfortable and supportive, you’ll forget you have it on. Ultra-soft full coverage bra with banded contour cups provides fabulous support without wire. Every component in the Embraceable Wireless Bra is engineered for the ultimate in softness. Coordinate with an Embraceable panty for comfort from top to bottom.
- Full Coverage contour foam cups.
- Excellent T-shirt bra: smooth Contour cups give you a seamless silhouette.
- Soft, brushed microfiber fabric feels incredible against the skin.
- Pretty satin bow and rhinestone charm accent.
- Plush super soft elastic and back-adjustable, built-up straps.
- Clean finish neckline, underarm and back with padded hook-and-eye closure.
- 81% Nylon, 19% Spandex. Hand wash, cold; line dry. Imported.
Right now this bra is on sale: 2 for $59. I’m not sure how long this sale is going on but I would assume it’s through the new year.
I got two of these bras as well as a new Sports Bra. I didn’t even know I was in the market for one but as soon as I tried it on I knew I had to cop it. Yes, $60 is a whole lot for one single bra but I’ve never experienced the support of this. I thought it would be invaluable to invest as I’ve recently decided to live a more healthy and active lifestyle.
Let me know if you end up stopping by Soma in the comments section or if you have a favorite bra suggestion. I went to the boutique in the Annapolis Harbour Center in Annapolis, MD. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I’ll be sure to keep you guys updated as I continue to wear these items.
