I want to begin the book reviews again. You guys seemed to respond well to Uninvited and honestly since I did it, it’s become one of my favorite books. After that, I attempted to do Love Warrior but it didn’t go well because it wasn’t something I could use to improve ourselves as it was an autobiography, not that there are anything wrong with autobiographies. It was an interesting read it’s just that I couldn’t justify how it fit in with the mission besides the fact that I was reading more.
Speaking of the mission, I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently and in so many words, it’s about self improvement, self discovery, self love and awareness. It’s about us doing work on ourselves and understanding how powerful it is when we come together with like-minded people. I want to produce content that will expose us to better methods, thought process and support those who may not know what steps to take to get there but desire change, those who have been on this journey for awhile and can help others navigate and those who are pioneers. I want to provide us with tools that can effectively assist all of us in getting better. I desire that this platform support the exchange of information and provide encouragement for these causes. I’m not doing this to meet a quota, I’m doing this to make an impact. By making myself better, I can help someone to be better and thereby create a better world.
So I’m thinking of doing reviews for either Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill or Don’t Settle for Safe by Sarah Jakes-Roberts. Which one would you guys like? I can start the Don’t Settle for Safe before the other one because we are finishing up the Slight Edge by Darren Hardy in the LCA and will be reading Think and Grow Rich next along with completing the workbook.
Let me know which you prefer. I have so many books I wanna read and can’t wait to cover them all!
I also want to begin a Question of the Week segment. The questions will be posted on Mondays and you guys will have all week to comment. I think I wanna do this in video form which I think will be a cool element. So don’t forget to let me know what you guys think about those ideas. Also, if you’d like to ask questions to the community and we’d answer them that would be cool too. You can do that by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any other suggestions or topics you’d like to see me cover, please let me know by leaving your ideas in the comments section and as always Stay Peculiar 🙂
